Kentosh's electric balalaika
This balalaika was built by Brian Kentosh, in California U.S during 2007. He has a website at http://brian.kentosh.com
The cost of this build were only about $250, approximately €200 or 1700 SEK. He built it for his senior project in high school. The body is made from alder and the neck is made from maple, the pickup has been made by Kentosh himself and the balalaika uses a strata cover. The balalaika has 24 frets. two whole octaves.
